The Fellowship Program

The Fellowship Program

Welcome to the Fellowship Program at Visitation Academy! This innovative initiative helps students explore their passions and pursue meaningful opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. The program provides students with the resources and support to follow their individual interests and goals. In the 2024-2025 school year, we launched the Sophomore Speaker Series, where members of the Viz community share their academic and professional journeys with 10th graders, inspiring them with real-world applications of their education. In 2025-2026, the program will expand to include all grade levels.

The Fellowship Program supports self-discovery throughout a student’s time at Visitation Academy. In Grade 9, students will complete self-assessments to reflect on their strengths and potential career pathways. In Grade 10, they will participate in the Fellowship Speaker Series, hearing from alumnae and community members who offer diverse perspectives.

In Grades 11 and 12, students will collaborate with a faculty mentor to design their Individual Fellowship Experience. This personalized project could include independent research, career exploration, or creative work, allowing students to dive deep into their interests and connect with professionals in relevant fields.

At the end of their Fellowship, students will showcase their work through performances, presentations, or panel discussions, celebrating their achievements with the Visitation community and fostering pride and connection within the academy.

We are launching our Sophomore Speaker Series where members of the Viz community will share their academic and professional stories with our Grade 10 students during the 2024-2025 school year and rolling out our full program for all grades in 2025-2026.

To support this experience, we will seek to connect our students with professionals in their fields of interest.
