Prepare to Thrive

Viz prepares already capable and curious young women to become well-rounded individuals, armed with the tools required for success both professionally and personally. Our comprehensive college preparatory program, set in an all-girl environment, challenges young women to stretch themselves intellectually and empowers them to participate wholly in their high school experience.

Core courses in theology, English, mathematics, modern and classical languages, science, social studies, the arts, and health and wellness are supplemented with a wide array of interesting and challenging electives. Genetics, engineering, photography, creative writing, personal finance, world affairs, and an entrepreneurial program are some of the choices, but the list goes on and on. At Viz, there are many different avenues to explore and students are encouraged to discover their passions and take advantage of every opportunity, expanding themselves in unimaginable ways.

For the go-getter looking to get a head start on college coursework, Viz has you covered. We are affiliated with the 1818 St. Louis University College Credit programs and the Advanced Placement program of the College Board. On average, 75 percent of our students undertake college-level coursework their junior and senior years.

We invite you to view the Upper School Program of Studies for a detailed overview of what students can expect at each grade level.
