St. Jane de Chantal Distinguished Award Nomination

The St. Jane de Chantal Distinguished Alumna Award is bestowed annually upon a Visitation Academy graduate who is an exemplar of the virtues of St. Jane de Chantal – and who has distinguished herself in the areas of loyalty, service, and community involvement.

Individuals are invited to nominate any living alumnae who, in their estimation, are worthy of such recognition. Nominations must be received no later than Friday, May 9, 2025. Please complete the form below to submit your nomination and email Emily Gardiner at egardiner@vizstl.org with any questions. There is no limit to the number of nominations that may be submitted.

The recipient of the award will be recognized at the Alumnae Reunion on June 7, 2025. Please note that all nomination forms and narratives become the property of Visitation Academy upon submission and also may be considered as nominations for awardees in future years.

Join us for a special evening exploring the beauty and depth of devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, at Visitation Academy and co-sponsored by Cor Jesu Academy, De Smet Jesuit High School, Saint Louis University High School, and Villa Duchesne. This event will feature Fr. Thomas Dailey, OSFS, author of Behold This Heart: St. Francis de Sales and Devotion to the Sacred Heart, who will share insights on the transformative power of the Sacred Heart in our spiritual lives.

Following his talk, a panel discussion will bring together representatives from each co-sponsoring school to reflect on how this devotion is embedded in their charism and lived out in their communities. After the panel, we will conclude the evening with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, offering a time of prayer and reflection in the presence of Christ. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to deepen your faith and connect with others who share this sacred tradition.

We hope you plan to celebrate with us at the Visitation Academy Alumnae Reunion on Saturday, June 7, 2025. The class of 1975 will be celebrating their 50^th Reunion Year, while the class of 2000 will be celebrating their 25th. Your reunion will include a luncheon that will include the 50^th and 25^th awarded pins. Visitation will host a mass on campus at 4:00 p.m., followed by a complimentary Alumnae Appreciation Reception, including heavy appetizers. More event details and registration will be coming out soon.
