Mission Statement:
Visitation Academy’s Upper School Athletics program is dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and growth for every student-athlete. Rooted in our motto, “Live Jesus,” we strive to shape individuals who embody resilience, respect, and leadership both on and off the field. Athletics plays a vital role in an academic environment by teaching essential life skills such as teamwork, perseverance, and goal setting, which reinforce the academic principles learned in the classroom. We are committed to supporting personal growth and competitive excellence, helping each student-athlete reach their highest potential. We believe that a balanced commitment to both academics and athletics creates well-rounded individuals who are prepared for success beyond school.
Grounded in our Salesian Values, our program emphasizes balance and holistic development, supporting academic achievement, personal well-being, and athletic dedication. We are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to reach their full potential, work as a team, and develop a lifelong love for sport. Together, we aim to cultivate not only accomplished athletes but also individuals of character who inspire and uplift those around them.
