  Lower School

  Art classes are incorporated into the curriculum at every age level from kindergarten through fifth grade. Through age-appropriate projects, students learn the principles and elements of art. Artwork from all grade levels is routinely displayed throughout the halls of the school. In addition, first through fifth grade artwork is showcased during an art show held in conjunction with the spring choir concert.

  Middle School

  All students in sixth through eighth grade take a full semester art class as a part of the required curriculum. At each grade level, more in-depth principles and elements of design are taught using both 2-D and 3-D projects. Student artwork is showcased at an annual art show which occurs the same night as the Middle School spring concert.
• 

  Upper School

  Upper School students have a variety of visual art electives to choose from. Traditional 2-D and 3-D art classes are options along with a more contemporary Graphic Design class. Other options for more serious art students include Independent Study in Art and AP Art.
  
  

  Another visual art option is photography. Students learn both traditional photography and photographic development as well as digital photography skills. Advanced students have the option to take an Independent Study in Photography course.
  
  

  Projects from all classes are displayed throughout the school as well as showcased at our formal art show held the night of the spring choir concert.
