Upper School Application Process

    • High school

Welcome to Upper School!

The Viz Upper School prepares already capable and curious young women to become well-rounded individuals armed with the tools required for success, both professionally and personally. Our comprehensive college preparatory program challenges students to stretch themselves intellectually and empowers them to participate wholly in their high school experience.

Compulsory core courses are supplemented with a wide array of interesting and challenging electives. Genetics, engineering, photography, creative writing, personal finance, world affairs, and an entrepreneurial program are some of the choices, but the list goes on and on. Viz also is affiliated with the 1818 St. Louis University College Credit programs and the Advanced Placement program of the College Board, offering 14 college credit classes and 14 Advanced Placement courses.

At Viz, there are many avenues to explore - a vibrant fine arts program, inclusive yet competitive athletics, numerous extracurricular clubs, and hands-on service opportunities - and students are encouraged to discover their passions and take advantage of every opportunity.

If you have demonstrated financial need, we encourage Grade 9 applicants to apply online for tuition assistance between October 1 and November 1 and Grades 10-12 applicants to apply online for tuition assistance before December 1. Doing so will allow Visitation Academy to review your tuition assistance application early.

We use School and Student Services (SSS) to process tuition assistance applications and provide preliminary data relative to your family’s financial need. To apply, visit https://sssandtadsfa.my.site.com/familyportal to complete your Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS). Visitation Academy’s school code is 1093. If you do not choose to complete your online application by the deadlines stated above, then you should complete it no later than December 31, 2024. Late applicants will be considered if funds remain and may be placed on a waiting list.
