Students Learn About the Legacy of the Divine 9

As Black History Month came to a close, students in Grades 9-12 gathered for an inspiring assembly to learn about the Divine 9, the nine historically Black Greek-letter organizations. These organizations have long been pillars of leadership, service, and cultural unity, fostering academic excellence, social activism, and lifelong bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood.
Students had the opportunity to hear from representatives of three sororities, who shared their rich history and ongoing impact on communities through service, scholarship, and empowerment.

A special thank you to Katrina Peoples, mother of Grade 11 student Christina, for leading this engaging presentation alongside our esteemed panelists, including Tralonda Woods, mother of Grade 11 student Mikayla. Your insights and passion made this event a meaningful conclusion to Black History Month!
