Viz and Priory Robotics Team Heads to World Championship
The ViPrs Robotics Team, a collaboration between Visitation Academy and Priory, is making history as they prepare to compete in the Robotics Competition (FRC) World Championship in Houston this April!
This prestigious event brings together 600 teams from over 26 countries, celebrating the ingenuity and teamwork of high school students in the world of robotics. After an intense six-week build season, the ViPrs engineered a competitive, game-playing robot that earned them a regional championship title—securing their first-ever championship qualification based solely on merit.
The team is divided into two dynamic divisions:
🤖 Robot Division – Focused on fabrication, design, programming, and game strategy.
📢 More Than Robots (MTR) Division – Manages outreach, marketing, and fundraising efforts.

As they prepare to take on the world stage, we are incredibly proud of our ViPrs and all they have accomplished.
Visitation Academy is an independent, private Catholic school offering a coeducational Montessori preschool and Kindergarten program, the area's only all-girl elementary program for Grades 1-5, and an all-girl middle school and all-girl high school.
