Earlier this week, our Grade 8 students had the exciting opportunity to experience life as a Vivette in the Upper School! The day was filled with activities designed to give them a firsthand look at what high school has to offer. From the moment they arrived, they were warmly welcomed by current Upper School students who shared insights into their own journeys, offering valuable advice on academics, extracurriculars, and balancing school life.
Throughout the day, the 8th graders rotated through various departments, learning about future course options in subjects like science, humanities, and the arts. They also got a sneak peek at our diverse array of clubs, from student government to robotics, and heard about the exciting athletic programs they can join.
The day wasn’t just about information—it was about inspiration. Whether trying out a science experiment or chatting with high school athletes, our 8th graders left feeling energized and excited for the opportunities that await them. The transition to Upper School can seem daunting, but this immersive experience helped make it feel within reach, and our students are more ready than ever to embrace the next chapter of their academic journey!
