Community Service
Students at Visitation learn giving at a young age. Community service projects give parents and children the opportunity to work together for the needs of others. Participation helps children recognize they can be of service and make a difference.Christmas Project
Stuffing Christmas stocking is a tradition at Visitation. Stockings are filled with toys and candy and are sent to charitable organizations in hopes of bringing cheer to needy children at Christmas time.
Students also collect baby gifts and baby supplies at Christmas.
Food Drives
Students collect food during the Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive and at other times throughout the year.
Donations
Each spring, students collect Easter gifts for the Visitation Sisters and present them with Easter baskets. Students also make donations of school supplies, baby supplies and clothing for various projects throughout the year. In one instance, a senior took a medical mission trip to Honduras during the summer and Montessori children contributed items for her to give to those she met on the trip.
