Scholarship Deadlines for 2015

March 2
Lindenwood University is offering the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Scholarship, which awards full tuition and room/board at either the St. Charles or Belleville campus.  The scholarship is need based and the application includes an essay.  The application is available in the College Center and is due March 2, 2015.
Lindenwood University Black Student Union offers the Black & White Ball Scholarship, which awards full tuition and room/board. The scholarship is need based and the application includes an essay.  The application is available in the College Center and is due March 2, 2015.

March 6
The Crestwood Sunset Hills Are Chamber of Commerce is offering four $1000 scholarships to seniors who live in the cities of Crestwood or Sunset Hills.  The scholarship is based solely on merit.  The application is available in the College Center and is due by March 6, 2015.
 
March 9
The Association of the United States Army, St. Louis Gateway Chapter is accepting applications for its 2015 scholarship program.  The AUSA scholarship is available to the following students:  High school seniors who have a parent who is currently active in the Army or who has served in the past; who have a parent who works for a defense contractor or agency; who are in a high school ROTC program. 
The scholarship award is $1,000-$3,000.  The application is available in the College Center or online at www.gatewayausa.org and is due by March 9, 2015.

March 14
The Missouri Women’s Golf Association scholarship is available to seniors online now at www.mowomensga.org.  Last year the association awarded $14,000 to players of all skill levels.  Applications must be postmarked by March 14, 2015.

On Saturday, April 18, 2015 St Louis University will host the Perry Outreach Program (for medicine and engineering).  The Perry Outreach Program is a free, one-day, hands-on experience for high school and college-aged women who are interested in pursuing careers in medicine and engineering. Students will hear from women leaders in these fields and try it for themselves by performing mock orthopedic surgeries and biomechanics experiments.

Applications are available now for the St Louis area program. Participants should be women in grades 10 and up with an expressed interest in science, medicine and/or engineering.   Applicants should fill out the online application in advance of the March 18, 2015 application deadline.
