Supplies for Honduras: Every year Visitation Academy collects all the used office and art supplies for the Schools in Honduras. They truly appreciate any donations such as: pencils (all types), rulers, sharpeners, paints, fabrics, water containers, papers, plastic sheets, yarns, tapes, glues, notebook with used papers torn out, markers and crayons, brushed, cardboard. Please put items in boxes provided in the halls marked “Supplies for Honduras”.

There is also a Summer Programs section of a bulletin board in the Counseling Hallway that will highlight programs that you may apply to right now.

If you are interested in attending the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine please visit www.nylf.org to learn about the program and register for one of the summer sessions. Tuition is $2,695 for the 10-day summer sessions. There are sessions throughout the summer in several cities. The closest to St. Louis are held in Kansas City and Chicago.

The Sansone Group is sponsoring the Sansone Group Scholarship Contest. The Scholarship is worth $2500. This is an essay contest that runs from April 1-June 15. You may enter more than once to increase the chance of becoming a finalist. See the poster on the scholarship bulletin board in the Counseling Hallway, or the website for essay topics and all the details: www.sansonegroup.com.
