Laptop Reimaging Schedule Now Online

Each summer, every Upper School laptop is imaged with updates and changes needed for the next school year. All students are required to turn in their computers for imaging using the schedule below; early turn-in is acceptable and encouraged. 

For 10th graders, imaging includes both end-of-lease HPtc4400s and Lenovo X200s. 10th graders receiving new computers will receive them on the first day of school along with a half-day Microsoft OneNote training.

A $40 late fee will be assessed on all turn-ins made after August 6; please contact the Technology department to arrange an alternate turn-in date if necessary.

To prepare for imaging (which permanently erases all files), students must copy their files onto an external hard drive/flash drive or burn them to CD. Visit http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1329 for special instructions for iTunes.

Students must turn in their laptop in their computer bag and their power cord (labeled with the student’s name).  They can then check the “Laptop Pickup” course in Moodle to see when their laptop is ready for pickup. 

Turn-ins and pick-ups take place at Visitation’s Laptop Depot between 9 a.m. ― 1 p.m. on the following dates:

Grade 10
Turn-In: Thursday, June 3
Pick-Up: Wednesday, June 16
Pickup on HPs may be delayed if shipped out for repair

Grade 8
Turn-In: Monday, June 14
Pick-Up: Wednesday, June 23

Grade 9
Turn-In:  Monday, June 21
Pick-Up: Wednesday, June 30

Grade 11
Turn-In: Monday, June 28
Pick-Up: Wednesday, July 7

Grade 12
Turn-In: Monday, July 19
Pick-Up: Wednesday, July 28
